CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)
A coordinate measuring machine (CMM) is a measuring device that measures the geometry of objects by establishing discrete points on a physical surface using a contact probe. The machine will specify the probe’s position in terms of displacement from an origin point in a three-dimensional coordinate system (XYZ axes).
Smart Scope Measurement System
The smart scope offers a precision visual inspection and measurement station. A microscope camera is used to view the sample on the stage. Features can be measured using precisely controlled motors which move the stage and feed their position back to the computer. In this manner features can be accurately modelled with a resolution < 5um. A CAD drawing can even be exported based on the measured features of the sample.
Laser Mark
Laser marking, which utilizes a laser beam to etch or permanently alter the surface of materials, creates clear and durable markings. As long as you have metal of any shape, laser marking can provide excellent precision and reliability.
